Rubinstein Krakow

For some years now Kazimierz has been challenging the Old Town in terms of charm and panache. But whilst cafes and art galleries are aplenty in the old Jewish district, it's taken some time for distinctive hotels to open up. Or at least distinctive for the right reasons. That said, the arrival of Hotel Rubinstein has set new standards for this quirky part of town. Named after cosmetics legend Helena Rubinstein - who was born on this very street - the hotel is an exquisite place that's bursting with style. You're perfectly located on Kazimierz's prettiest street, so you won't have to go far to find other treasures, be they synagogues, churches, museums or restaurants. All in all an elegant addition to Krakow's hotel scene.

Lovely hotel with good facilities and in a very pretty square, perfectly situated for exploring the Jewish quarter but also within walking distance of the main square, parks etc. extremely polite and helpful staff, would Definately recommend the hotel.

The location is brilliant; some very nice local restaurants and bars on the same street, which has a nice ambiance. Also very near to the other bars and restaurants in Kazimierze and only a short tram ride from the old town. The room was lovely and on the first floor as requested. Breakfast was very good too. If we go to Krackow again we will definitely to back to this hotel.

Best hotel of our two week travel through eastern Europe. Beautifully done renovation/restoration. Large rooms, absolutely terrific restaurant (and breakfasts) and a wonderful staff that goes above and beyond to be helpful. wish we could have stayed longer and would return in a heartbeat.

Friendly, relaxed and extremely comfortable, but also elegantly furnished; perhaps a little expensive. My one very minor criticism is that the curtains in my room were not quite wide enoough for the windows.

Very nice hotel. The staff was speaking excellent English and was very serviceminded. To be served at the outdoor facility took to long time. There was also a problem for every person to have his bill charged on the room.
