Senacki Krakow

This is a reliable choice on the famous 'Royal Way' that leads down to Wawel Castle. Senacki is not the most luxurious hotel in Krakow but it's still amongst the best bets in town. Some guests actually prefer this one to some of the more famous options. It's not a flashy place, but it is smart, professional and perfectly located. Senacki is based in an exuberant mansion opposite the striking church of St Peter and St Paul and they have an attractive range of singles and doubles. Some very congenial suites are also available with fine views onto the church below. All in all, this is decent option and a very comfortable base from which to explore the city.

The staff was very helpful, particularly Chris. The breakfast was also excellent. Location is superb. My only disappointment was that my room was quite small.

This is a lovely City Centre hotel, well positioned on an attractive street. The staff are unfailingly courteous, helpful, fluent in English and with an attractive outlook. The large room was excellent; Breakfasts are generous; the “Pub” though is a disappointment; fine for a drink, but the food is not very interesting. A missed opportunity.

Hotel was OK although I did have a single bed instead of a double bed as booked.

GreatLocation - Modern Hotel - Best front desk people I have encountered in 25 years of travel - Great buffet breakfast - Old world charm hotel - Spacious rooms - Loved setting for breakfast and drinks in the bar - air-conditiioned quiet rooms at night.

The Senacki was a brilliant suggestion by as a result of our first choice being full.

I stayed for two nights and the room was warm nicely decorated and had all of the amenities one would expect in a hotel room. The room's situation within the hotel meant it was quiet. It was very reasonable in price , very clean and well maintained. The hotel is situated in a very central place in-between the historic square and the Jewish section. More importantly I had a small crisis on my first night at the hotel and found the staff member on night duty very very helpful and calming. Additionally all of the staff I met were very genuinely friendly, very helpful and patient. I have and would highly recommend the hotel and I will be back to visit Krakow to visit the places I missed on my visit

A beautiful little hotell. We had one of the suites, room was tasteful and had the ammenities that we expected. A little minus regarding street noise, because of drunk people on their way home from the clubs.

I loved the hotel. The staff on the reception were lovely, especially Klaudia. She rang round all the restaurants on the 24th looking for an open one for me. I got a room with a balcony which was wonderful, the views of the churches excellent. My room was very nice with tea and coffee and a large bathroom. The breakfast buffet was excellent- lots of lovely fresh food. My hotel taxi was reliable and good value for money. If the hotel had room service I would have given a 10.

Guest 9th June 2011

The only thing that lacked, was that the hotels restaurant/bar closed too erarly. Otherwise this was superb. Clean, friendly, everything in walking distance, fantastic breakfast.

Very nice and cosy hotel. Good location. But shampoo and shower gel was not there the first night.

Tobias Hoheisel 3rd August 2010

Good location (though not exactly quiet!) nice, slightly old fashioned (a compliment!) spacious rooms, very nice breakfast though the rather stuffy cellar where it is served is less appealing & TV 'entertainement' a real turn off!!

Luiz Roberto Evangelista 26th July 2010

Senacki Hotel was a good surprise! It seems a simple hotel, but it offers much more than one should deduce from the price it costs. The employees are very well prepared and very kind. I recomend it with enthusiasm!

Guest 28th May 2010

We had an attic room and felt the accommodation was a bit basic for the price. Some of the other rooms appeared to be considerably better. There was no hot water on the first evening and we got the impression that it hadn't been turned on!! also the radiators were cold and remained so throughout our stay. Fortunately the weather was reasonably warm. The staff were extremely helpful.

Guest 5th April 2010

Great location and services!

Guest 2nd March 2010

Perfect hotel, but the room needed a vase for flowers. We asked for one, but didn´t get any. The carpet looked filthy/dirty.

Tom Cole 19th February 2010

Hotel was great. Staff very friendly and our suite room 507 perfect with great views of the city. Would highly recommend this little gem.
