Pluses: Suite was beautifully decorated, hotel was any easy walk to the market square, yet far away enough to avoid the night time party noises. Beautiful little gallery of artisan's shops right across the street from the hotel. Convenient to have free Wifi. Helpful that desk staff speak English. Minuses: Would have been nice if there had been a separate concierge--as it was the same person served as both desk staff and concierge, which sometimes meant people trying to check out had to wait behind those asking for tourist information. Would have been nice if there had been coffee/tea making supplies in the suite. Lovely bathroom but would have been nice if hand held shower could be hung somewhere other than just over the faucet-especially as there was no shower curtain. Officially non-smoking room but definite faint cigarette smell- perhaps other guests next door were smoking and the ventilation system carried the odour?

We travelled with a group of 24 and a bus. After some confusion as to where the bus could park, we were cordially welcomed by reception and could move into our rooms without further problems. Our room was fine - very clean, functional and a bit small. Breakfast was good, the freshly-squeezed juices were superb. Would have liked more cut-up fruit and yoghurt for our cereal. Beautiful, historic hotel appointed with quality faucets, sheets, shower, soap. Not overly fussy but quietly tasteful. Restaurant absolutely wonderful, staff kind and helpful.

The lobby was rather coldly furnished, but our room was very nice, the breakfast was excellent, and the dinner we ate there one night was also very, very good. Location couldn't be better for tourists.
