Europejski Warsaw

We think this hotel is an absolute star. True, Warsaw's oldest hotel may not have the Old World Grandeur that it did one hundred years ago, but the post-war revamp has left it with a gloriously retro interior that lovers of spy thrillers will fall head over heels for. It's pure John Le Carre, with a dash of 2001 Space Odyssey thrown in for good measure. What's more, in these democratic times you don't need to worry about Big Brother butting in to enjoy these magnificent interiors. Upstairs in the guest rooms, the original nineteenth century structure has been re-implemented, which means a palatial use of space that's fit for a prince. Service is friendly and the location is frankly unbeatable - don't forget to try the cakes in the cafe downstairs. A marvellous hotel!
